Co-products such as sawdust, shavings, chips and bark are also produced into end products such as MDF, chipboard, horticultural graded bark and biomass for the energy generation sector.Job Title - Maintenance FitterTasks & Responsibilities:The position will be based in Coolrain, Mountrath, Co. Laois and may require occasional travel to other sites as required. Duties will include, but not limited to:Conduct maintenance activities in support of day-to-day production alongside our production managers and their teams.Ensure equipment breakdowns are dealt with in a timely fashion in line with business needs, and document corrective measures as requiredSupport ongoing Preventative Maintenance ProgrammesWork alongside our contractors and electricians to ensure new equipment at the site meets maintainability and operability requirementsRoutine calibration, inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment onsiteAssisting Engineering Manager with maintaining all maintenance records and routine inspections in compliance with our licenses and accreditationsAssist and promote all continuous improvement programs with a strong commitment to quality and complianceProvide support to emergency situations outside of regular workings hours, as requiredSkills and Experience:Minimum 5 years' previous experience in a similar position within the manufacturing industryQualification in mechanical automation and maintenance fitting and or in metal fabrication desirableMust have experience in electrical fault findingStrong knowledge of welding, fabrication and fitting techniquesStrong problem solving, analytical and trouble shooting skillsGood communication skills and ability to work well with a teamAbility to work in fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesFlexible approach to work and commitment to completing tasksRobotic programming experience advantageousDemonstrated high performance history, proven ability to execute and get resultsExcellent interpersonal skills and a can-do attitudeSalary dependent of experience, get in touch for more information.Job Type: Full-timePay: €38,000.00 per yearBenefits:On-site parkingWork from homeWork Location: In person
