As we continue expanding our footprint in Ireland, we are seeking a dynamic and ambitious
Area Sales Manager
to represent our brand across the Republic of Ireland.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will be the face of D W Windsor in the Irish market. Responsible for maximising profitable sales, you will develop new business opportunities, nurture key relationships, and promote our market‑leading product range.

This field‑based role requires regular travel across Southern Ireland, including occasional overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities

* Build and manage relationships with lighting consultants, electrical consultants, contractors, Local Authorities, and other stakeholders.
* Position D W Windsor as a recognised leader within the Irish public lighting market.
* Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities across the region.
* Partner with exclusive distributors to drive growth through agreed pricing and marketing strategies.
* Plan and manage weekly schedules using Salesforce CRM.
* Conduct regular field visits (up to four days per week), with occasional overnights.
* Track projects from specification to order completion, ensuring exceptional after‑sales service.
* Maintain accurate customer records, market intelligence, and monthly reporting.
* Attend industry events to monitor trends and competitor activity.
* Adhere to company policies relating to expenses, health & safety, quality, and vehicle usage.

About You – Skills & Experience

Essential

* Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
* Proven experience in specification sales (lighting or electrical industry preferred)
* Experience managing a large territory with strong planning skills
* Confident user of CRM systems
* Commercial awareness with strong attention to detail

Desirable

* Experience selling to Local Authorities
* Experience working with Architects, Lighting Designers, or Lighting Consultants
