With over 130 years of experience and more than 22,000 employees, we serve sophisticated clients worldwide using advanced technology and exceptional service.About the Role:Reporting to the Manager of the Trade & Settlements team in Limerick, the successful candidate will handle functions including Unitised Fund and ETF post-trade activities, Financial Transaction Tax declarations, and CSDR regulatory reporting. The team collaborates with partner teams across EMEA, APAC, and North America to ensure timely and accurate completion of these functions.Key Responsibilities:Complete daily team responsibilities as outlined above.Research and resolve complex issues independently.Ensure accurate and timely trade settlement following proper procedures and quality checks.Handle activities with significant financial, client, or internal impact.Interact with committees and senior management as needed.Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor junior staff.Supervise daily operational activities of junior team members (not a management role).Maintain technical expertise and broader knowledge across areas.Deliver high-quality work with minimal revisions.Facilitate discussions and decision-making processes.Report daily metrics and clear reconciliation exceptions in line with guidelines.Collaborate with internal teams to provide excellent client service.Identify and implement process improvements.Develop and maintain the department’s risk framework and ensure regulatory compliance.Maintain strong relationships with global client servicing teams.Adhere to high standards of market, business, and personal conduct, demonstrating integrity.Skills/Experience Required:Strong analytical skills and accuracy under pressure.Good organizational and communication skills.Attention to detail, multitasking ability, and client focus.Experience in Trade and Settlement or Cash Reconciliation preferred.Positive attitude, responsibility, and initiative.Team player, self-motivated, proactive learner.Process improvement mindset and problem-solving skills.Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Proficiency in Excel and basic accounting knowledge is advantageous.Working with Us:Join Northern Trust to be part of a flexible, collaborative culture in a financially stable organization.
