Role Summary
Rhomu Ltd are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an accounting background, demonstrate strong organisational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced business environment with a hands-on approach.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and accounts to trial balance
* Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
* Completing VAT returns
* Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the Accountant of errors
* Recording any inconsistencies to help the Accountants reconcile inaccuracies
* Developing monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets
* Managing employee expense claims
* Helping the Accountant with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts
Most importantly you need to be excellent with Excel and Powerpoint. Power BI is an advantage.

Experience:
· Miniumin 5 years experience as a senior finance assistant or accounting technician
* Strong administrative abilities with a focus on organisation and efficiency
* High level of accuracy and keen attention to detail.
* Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to take initiative and ownership of tasks
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
