Project Accountant – Telecoms Sector
Location: Dublin 4
Salary: Up to €80,000 + Benefits
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Accountant to join a leading organisation based in Dublin 4.
This role is ideally suited to a finance professional with a strong background in the telecoms sector and proven experience supporting large-scale projects and capital expenditure programmes.
The successful candidate will play a key role in project financial management, CAPEX reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial analysis across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage financial reporting and analysis across telecoms-related projects
Monitor and report on CAPEX spend and project performance
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Partner with project managers and operational teams to track project costs and timelines
Prepare monthly management accounts and project reports
Conduct variance analysis and provide commercial insights
Ensure accurate cost allocation and financial controls across projects
Support audit and compliance requirements
Drive process improvements and reporting efficiencies
Requirements:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Strong previous experience within the telecoms sector is essential
Proven project accounting experience with exposure to large-scale projects
Strong CAPEX experience is essential and must be clearly detailed on your CV
Experience working closely with project and operational stakeholders
Excellent analytical and reporting skills
Strong Excel and finance systems experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment
