We are seeking an experienced Financial Strategist to play a key role in driving informed decision-making through financial planning and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop detailed financial forecasts by leveraging historical, trended, and real-time business insights, providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
* Monitor departmental and functional spending, identifying and analyzing material variances using system-generated reports.
* Support month-end close by preparing journal entries to ensure accurate accounting at all levels, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Prepare and distribute comprehensive financial reports, interpreting current business performance data and highlighting areas for improvement.
* Conduct in-depth financial analyses (EVA, NPV), presenting results to senior leadership and making recommendations for strategic initiatives.
* Evaluate new business opportunities, including acquisitions, product launches, and strategic initiatives through scenario modeling.
* Perform sensitivity analyses to assess the financial impact of key variable changes on revenue, expenses, and profitability.
* Promote and implement robust financial planning processes to support strategic objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements
* 5+ years PQE (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) is required, demonstrating expertise in financial systems planning, forecasting, and analysis.
* Previous experience in people management and operating as a strategic finance business partner, with strong leadership and influencing skills.
* Demonstrated application of Lean tools and methodologies, with a proven track record of improving business processes.
* Strong project management and SAP implementation experience, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Prior experience working in a manufacturing or similar operational environment is highly desirable, with a deep understanding of production costs and efficiency.
