Springfield Convent School is a leading Independent Day School for girls from Pre-Primary to Matric. Applications are invited for a full-time Senior School Subject Head: Life Sciences
Starting date: 1 January 2026
Essential attributes of the successful candidate will include:
* being able to teach Life Sciences at all senior levels (Grades 8-12);
* having suitable academic and professional qualifications;
* having at least 5 years teaching experience in FET phase Life Sciences;
* demonstrating dynamic leadership in the Life Sciences department, a collegial and collaborative spirit, and a forward-thinking approach grounded in sound educational practice;
* the willingness to contribute positively to the extramural and administrative requirements of the school; and
* being willing and able to subscribe to the Catholic ethos of Springfield.
