Welcome to a business where personal achievement and team success go hand-in-hand.Partner with the bestAs a Sales Apprentice, you'll learn how to build and grow your own client base, working with top-tier partners like Microsoft, HPE, Cisco, and Dell. You'll start by securing new business and eventually transition to managing key accounts, nurturing long-term client relationships, and selling a wide range of IT solutions.You'll be part of our Sales Development Programme, designed to accelerate your growth and confidence in the role, leading you to become an established Account Manager. Alongside on-the-job learning, you'll undertake a structured Sales Apprenticeship over two years, gaining a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Sales.As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for:Researching potential customers to shape and build new businessGrowing new business through effective communication methods including cold calling, customer meetings and email marketingWorking towards your KPI's through developing market understanding, building relationships and networkingProviding effective account management to support your customers technology strategy, implementation, and future requirementsCollaborating with your sales team, cross-functional teams, and external partners to help develop a rich customer experienceWe'd love you to haveA passion for sales and a desire to learn and growA keen entrepreneurial spirit and the drive to build your own client baseA self-motivated, organised, and quick-learning attitudeStrong verbal and written communication skillsEnthusiasm for learning about new and emerging technologiesThe ability to build solid relationships with internal teams and external clientsEntry Requirements for the Sales Apprenticeship Programme:Aged 18 or overGrade O6/H7 or above in 5 Leaving Certificate subjects (including Maths F2/O6/H7 and English or Irish O6/H7)Applicants without a Leaving Certificate must hold a full QQI Level 5 or higher qualificationInternational applicants must provide equivalent qualificationsMature applicants (21 years or older) without a Level 5 qualification but with relevant experience may also be considered, subject to an interview and submission of supporting documentationWhat you'll gain:Structured mentorship – You'll be assigned a dedicated workplace mentor to guide you throughout the programme and ensure you stay on track.Blended learning – A combination of on-the-job training and off-the-job learning through online classes and face-to-face workshops with the Education and Training Board.A recognised qualification – On successful completion, you'll become a certified Sales Specialist with a QQI-validated NFQ Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Sales, opening doors for further career growth within Softcat or higher education opportunities.Work in a way that works for youWe recognise that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
