Our client are currently engaged on a construction project in Limerick and are now seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join them on this project.
Key Responsibilities
* Examine technical project drawings and documents to prepare for tenders.
* Conduct quantity take-offs for tender submissions.
* Evaluate equipment and plant quotes for accuracy.
* Input project take-offs and equipment details into estimation tools.
* Prepare and share tender documentation.
* Coordinate with external estimators when needed.
* Explore cost-saving options through value engineering initiatives.
* Participate in site visits and client discussions as required.
Key Skills
* Maintain and update work-in-progress lists.
* Organize project files and ensure proper server storage.
* Distribute project drawings and related documents for tendering purposes.
* Create summaries for estimation and send out quotation requests.
* Submit necessary tender documents to external estimation teams.
* Complete and share tender forms.
* Archive tender documentation in both digital and physical formats.
* Refresh pricing and product information in estimation tools as needed.
