Role
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Consultant within our growing Fund Accounting department. The Senior Consultant is responsible for reviewing and signing off NAV calculations, acting as the subject matter expert for fund-specific requirements, and leading system enhancements and procedural rollouts. They will provide feedback from the Fund Accounting department to relevant stakeholders. The role may involve individual contributions or oversight of one or two direct reports. This position is ideal for candidates with prior fund accounting or relevant operational/accounting experience seeking career progression in a high-quality environment.
Location: Limerick (3 days onsite a week)
Duration: 12 Month Contract + Extension
Rate: Up to 48 Euros an hour
A Senior Consultant’s responsibilities include:

* Act as the technical and subject matter expert, ensuring all fund-specific requirements are met.

* Lead cross-functional processes and project deliverables, ensuring accuracy and minimizing errors.
* Stay informed on industry developments and emerging trends.
* Drive long-term strategy for the department.
* Foster a client service culture, ensuring high-quality service for all clients.
* Design and implement development, training, and succession plans for staff.
* Assign and oversee projects, providing feedback and recognition to team members.
* Engage with key stakeholders to understand and manage business needs and requirements.
* Proactively resolve issues and develop key communications related to projects and team activities.
Skills / Experience
* Previous fund accounting or relevant operational/accounting experience preferred.
* Proven NAV preparation & review experience is a MUST
* Knowledge of enterprise and fund accounting applications, with the ability to integrate systems.
* Experience with vendors such as Bloomberg and Reuters is advantageous.
* Strong communication, presentation, and client-servicing skills.
* Understanding of industry standards and required procedures.
* A third-level qualification or pursuit of a professional accounting qualification is advantageous but not required.
