Support Workers for Domestic Violence

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide direct support to women and children experiencing domestic abuse, including emotional support, practical assistance, and advocacy.
\
2. Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure seamless service delivery and excellent outcomes for our clients.
\
3. Maintain accurate records and reports, contributing to our ongoing evaluation and improvement of services.
\
4. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
\
5. Be available to work varied shifts, including day and night duties, weekdays and weekends, as required.
\
6. Ensure a trauma-informed approach in all aspects of your work, respecting the dignity and autonomy of our clients.
\
7. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and problem-solving, promoting a positive and supportive team culture.
\
8. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders, enhancing our reputation and service offerings.

9. Essential Qualifications:
\
\
10. A third-level qualification in Social Care or a related field.
\
11. Relevant experience working directly with women and/or children in a care or support setting.
\
12. Knowledge and understanding of domestic violence and its impact on individuals and families.
\
13. Strong decision-making and communication skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
\
14. Familiarity with Trauma-Informed Care Principles and Frameworks.
\
15. Ability to work flexibly, including lone working with on-call support.
\
16. A valid driver's license (if applicable).
