(Role)We are seeking a highly experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery of multiple complex projects from pre-construction through to handover. This senior leadership role involves full contract and project management responsibility and requires a forward-thinking individual who embraces innovation, especially in digital construction. The successful candidate will oversee project teams, liaise with clients and consultants, manage programmes and budgets, and ensure full compliance with quality, health & safety, and construction standards. This is a key position in supporting McKeon Group’s continued growth and reputation as a high-performing, technology-driven contractor.Contract Management & Project OversightManage all aspects of project contracts, ensuring compliance with legal, commercial, and technical obligationsLead projects from planning through project execution plans, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standardsEnsure digital construction tools (such as Procore, MS Project, BIM workflows) are embedded effectively throughout the project lifecycleUphold best practices in Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental complianceChair meetings and report to directors on progress and risk mitigationMonitor project performance and initiate corrective actions where necessaryAssist with bid decisions in conjunction with the Construction and Commercial DirectorsSupport recruitment and team development for each projectParticipate in pre-qualification and tender processes, including estimating and planning inputs when requiredManage and coordinate internal and external teams, promoting collaboration and performance excellenceAttend and contribute to management meetings with key project insightsStakeholder EngagementAttend client and design team meetings as the Senior McKeon Group RepresentativeFoster strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractorsMaintain existing client relationships and contribute to new business development effortsConduct ongoing cost and performance reviews in collaboration with Construction Director, Group Commercial Director and CFOAddress and resolve contractual issues as they ariseProvide operational and contractual reporting to company DirectorsBenefits of joining us in the Contracts Manager RoleMcKeon Group prides itself on its exceptional and motivated people and you will be joining a professional, warm, welcoming and enthusiastic teamHybrid Working Options (3 days Site / Office, 2 days remote)Great location - beat the commute to DublinPension SchemeIncome Protection and Death in Service schemeMembership of Employee Assistance ProgrammeExcellent opportunity to advance your career and progress within the GroupCompetitive salary based on experience and qualificationsSkills / Experience / Qualifications Required:Education & ExperienceDegree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related disciplineMinimum of 7-10years of experience in a Senior Contracts or Project Management role with a Main ContractorProven ability to manage and deliver high-quality, medium to large-scale projects safely and on time across commercial, education, hospitality, retail, healthcare, and industrial sectorsDemonstrated expertise in construction and contract administration and management, with strong knowledge of standard forms of contracts, contractual obligations, claims, and dispute resolutionProven ability to effectively collaborate and build strong working relationships with Design Teams, Subcontractors, and Clients, ensuring clear communication and successful project outcomesExcellent commercial awareness and negotiation skillsTechnical & Digital SkillsStrong capability in digital construction technologies and modern project delivery methodsAdvanced experience with construction management platforms, particularly Procore, as well as BIM coordination tools, cloud-based document control, and data-driven project reportingWorking knowledge of 4D/5D planning, digital twins, and real-time project performance dashboardsProven ability to drive digital adoption across project teams and subcontractors, embedding a culture of innovation and continuous improvementSkilled in utilising construction analytics, collaborative model reviews, and digital workflows to enhance decision-making and efficiencHighly proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), with strong knowledge of integrated planning tools and project visualisation platformsProvide leadership and guidance to junior and mid-level project employees, fostering their professional growth and skills developmentAct as a mentor and coach, sharing industry best practices, technical knowledge, and digital construction expertisePromote a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and high performance within project teamsSupport succession planning by identifying and nurturing future leaders within the organisationEncourage open communication, constructive feedback, and knowledge sharing to strengthen team capability and resilienceOther CompetenciesExperience working in live/occupied environments is a distinct advantageExperience in Design & Build and/or fast-track fit-out projectsExperience in lean construction principlesAll Candidates Should Have:A positive, service-oriented attitudeA results-driven and problem-solving approachExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracySelf-motivation, flexibility, and a team-focused mindsetWillingness to learn, upskill, and maintain industry certificationsMust be able to travel throughout the EU
