Job description
As a Systems Integrator, you will provide senior engineering management to Egis with extensive lifecycle-wide knowledge of railway systems, including project delivery, systems assurance, safety engineering (CSM, interoperability, PSDP/PSCS), infrastructure, and rail vehicle engineering.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Taking a lead role in managing the Systems design team and overseeing all technical aspects related to all sub-systems disciplines.
2. Managing the system integration processes from design to construction, testing, and commissioning.
3. Implementing efficient processes to manage system safety (including CDM, CSM-RA, and interoperability), verification and validation (V&V), and system assurance.
4. Ensuring the progression of all sub-systems design and development activities and that deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
5. Maintaining the consistency of sub-systems deliverables across all projects.
6. Planning and coordinating the activities of the System design team (CAD, engineers, expert resources).
7. Ensuring the production of system-level specifications across disciplines and extensions (e.g., System Specifications, Interface Specifications, transverse ad hoc studies).
8. Ensuring compliance with procedures, relevant regulations, standards, and statutory requirements.
9. Contributing to the standardization of specifications for all sub-systems and developing appropriate design criteria where absent.
10. Liaising with the project owner's team for all system-related issues or decisions, representing the systems team in meetings, and providing technical support as needed.
11. Contributing to the production of the project owner's requirements specifications.
12. Developing system-level functional and architecture specifications.
13. Coordinating the quality aspects of sub-systems deliverables as per the project quality management plan.
14. Reviewing and approving all deliverables where applicable, acting as a technical control point across projects.
15. Supporting delivery teams.
16. Being the point of contact with the client.
