Help solve real-world challenges that touch millions and get the opportunity to build the future of finance with Citi Tech.This team supports and develops key applications globally using the most UpToDate technologies combining it with the ones already proved.You can work with people in many regions while based in Dublin.This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Java applications with future focus on AI/ML integration on new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology Team.Roles and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for design and leading development as a full stack java to build very high-volume, low-latency enterprise applications that can adapt and scale to changing market conditionsUnderstanding the impact of adapting different architectures and designs and present the same to all relevant stakeholders.Management of both functional and technical requirements while deciding on technical solutions.Development of solutions following established technical design, application development standards and quality processes in projects.Understanding the client requirements and envision the solution that can be captured as respective user stories in JIRA.Work with large datasets and develop efficient algorithms for data processing and analysisCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirementsImplement AI/ML models using popular frameworks and librariesEnsure high-quality code delivery with robust testing and validationWork with Production Service/Support to resolve issuesStay up to date with new development tools and strategiesQualifications:6-10 years of experience as a Senior Java Developer with hands on end-to-end solutions.Java 8+ with strong expertise in Spring, Hibernate, and Java-based frameworks.Expert in Java microservice based architecture and REST APIs.Knowledge in data processing and storage solutions like Apache Hadoop, Spark, and/or NoSQL databasesExperience in working with in memory database and cache like Redis.Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patternsFluency in EnglishExcellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and managementProven ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive and problem-solving techniques and execute planPassion and commitment for process and design simplificationPreferred skills:Experience with popular AI/ML libraries like LangChain4j or Spring AIKnowledge of Redis Vector DB or Elasticsearch for efficient data retrievalExperience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google CloudFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like GitFamiliarity with AI/ML technologies, including:Machine Learning frameworks like Weka, Deeplearning4j, or TensorFlow Java APIDeep Learning architectures like CNNs, RNNs, or TransformersNatural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and libraries like Stanford CoreNLP or OpenNLPEducation:Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster's degree preferredWhat we can offer you:By joining Citi Dublin, you will not only be part of a business casual workplace with a hybrid working model (up to 2 days working at home per week), but also receive a competitive base salary (which is annually reviewed) and enjoy a whole host of additional benefits that support you (and your family) to be well, live well and save well.
