QA Test Analyst (Public Sector, Dublin Hybrid) 12-Month Contract This role will suit a QA Test Analyst who is comfortable working across complex IT systems and enjoys bringing clarity, structure, and rigour to software testing.Considering applying for this job Do not delay, scroll down and make your application as soon as possible to avoid missing out.You will join a collaborative IT function within a large public sector organisation, supporting the delivery of reliable, secure, and user-focused digital solutions.You will take ownership of testing activities across the delivery lifecycle, working with internal teams and external partners to plan tests, manage defects, support UAT, and ensure applications meet both technical and business requirements.Location: Dublin (Hybrid) Salary: €52,206 per annum Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract (may be extended) You will play a key role in ensuring software quality by planning, executing, and managing robust testing activities across business systems and digital services.Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will support system testing, user acceptance testing, and defect resolution across the full delivery lifecycle.Key Responsibilities Plan and execute testing across the full lifecycle including functional, regression, system integration, UAT, and data validation Design, coordinate, and support user acceptance testing in collaboration with business stakeholders Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, scripts, and test reports Identify, log, track, and manage defects through to resolution Analyse test results, document findings, and recommend corrective actions Collaborate with IT, data, and business teams to ensure applications meet functional and user requirements Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing standards Support delivery during peak project phases as required Essential Requirements Degree at NFQ Level 7 or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of qualifications and relevant professional experience Recognised testing certification (e.g.ISTQB Foundation or equivalent) Minimum of 5 years directly relevant experience in QA testing or IT quality assurance (a relevant Masters degree may substitute for up to 1 year) Strong experience in test planning, execution, reporting, and user acceptance testing Experience working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies Hands-on experience using test management and planning tools such as Azure Dev Ops Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Desirable Requirements Experience working within a public sector, regulated, or large enterprise environment Proficiency in SQL, data validation, or data visualisation tools Awareness of data privacy, cyber security, and information governance principles Experience contributing to positive customer or end-user outcomes Apply: Send your CV to Ben Higgins via the link working.12-month contract.
