Job Summary:
Our client, a reputable construction company, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Personnel to join their team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely data management, financial reconciliations, and general office administration across multiple group companies. This role requires proficiency with accounting and construction costing software, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately input a large volume of invoices into Sage.
* Perform monthly creditor reconciliations across several group companies to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
* Conduct monthly bank reconciliations for multiple group companies, ensuring all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies investigated.
* Manage general office administration tasks to support smooth daily operations, including filing, correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within construction or finance-related environments.
* Proficiency in using accounting and construction cost management systems is highly desirable.
* Strong numerical skills and attention to detail for accurate data entry and reconciliation tasks.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Familiarity with construction industry processes and terminology is an advantage.
Education:
Further qualifications in administration, finance, or related fields preferred.
