The roles/duties of a qualified electrician would be:
* PV Solar installation an upcoming top trade
* Makeup and install cable containment in line with layout drawings and dimensions.
* Install and terminate cable in the correct manner and in line with site standards.
* Guarantee that the works comply with site quality standards and guidelines.
* Comply with all safety limitations and procedures.
* Ensure that correct PPE is worn at all times on site.
* Keep the workplace in a tidy manner and free of excess materials.
* Plan and execute works in the most productive manner.
* Dispose of waste in the correct receptacles.
* Comply with site instructions regarding the formulation and implementation of RAMS - SPA, etc.
* Testing, maintenance, and repair/replacement.
Skills Needed:
* Ability to work independently.
* Problem-solving – to take a controlled/real-time approach to problems and solving them.
* Ability to manage and prioritize tasks.
* Interpersonal skills – and be willing to work on one’s own initiative or as part of a wider site team.
* Understanding construction documentation is an advantage.
* Capability to work well under pressure and within a strict time limit environment.
Education and Qualifications:
* The successful candidate will have time served Electrical trades experience.
* Full Driving Licence
* Certs for Electrical Training, Safe pass, and manual handling.
* Highly skilled in electrical and instrumentation disciplines.
* Provide references from previous positions.
