What you will do
* Facilitate the receipt, disbursement, and reconciliation of borrower funds during a loan's pre-funding and funding period, working with investor/fund administrator, trade management and treasury teams.
* Prepare daily and periodic investment reports, including valuations, investor remittance files and other financial statements, coordinating with internal and external parties related to reporting.
* Collaborate with Loan Services’ operational groups and the Data Integrity Team to research and resolve daily data transmission and feed issues.
* Review bank account reconciliations, investor files and wire transfers for accuracy.
* Interpret investment management and servicing agreements, regulations, SOPs and loan documents to ensure accounting and reporting requirements are met; prepare journal entries as needed.
* Participate in new investor meetings and support project planning with high profile global investors and funds.
* Identify efficiencies and opportunities for process automation of reporting and data feeds; contribute to project plans and lead execution where appropriate.
* Assist with RegAB, SOC1, SOX and other audits.
What you will bring
* Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Real Estate or Accounting (preferred).
* Accounting or Finance experience is required.
* Ability to multitask and prioritize based on deadlines.
* Basic understanding of database and data structures.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
What Will Set You Apart
* Knowledge of Accounting Information Systems is a plus.
* Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); PowerBI and Microsoft SQL are advantageous.
