Job Role:
As a safety and sustainability professional, you will be part of our team responsible for ensuring the well-being of employees and the environment. You will gain experience in applying best practices in a production setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safety Management: Collaborate with the EHS manager to maintain a safe working environment by implementing policies and procedures.
* Environmental Sustainability: Work with the utilities team to identify and implement sustainable practices across the site.
* EHS Management Systems: Assist with risk assessments, policy development, and training delivery.
* Training and Communication: Communicate safety information to all employees and report on EHS metrics.
Requirements:
* A strong academic record in environmental, health, and safety or a related discipline.
* Ambition to progress in a career in operations and production.
* Commercial acumen and customer-centric approach.
* Strong communication and influencing skills.
* Ability to analyze problems and develop creative solutions.
