Foreman – Leading Main Contractor (Cork)
Our client, a highly respected main contractor with a proven track record of delivering exceptional residential projects across Ireland, is seeking a Foreman for a long-term role in Cork. Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage daily site operations on a major residential development, ensuring work is completed to the highest quality standards and within project timelines.
* Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and smooth workflow across all trades.
* Monitor site health and safety, ensuring full compliance with regulations and company policies at all times.
* Ensure efficient allocation of resources and materials, keeping the residential project on track and within budget.
* Maintain clear communication with site management and senior engineers to ensure project milestones are met.
* Contribute to site reporting, including progress updates, issues, and project documentation.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Foreman with at least 5 years in the construction industry.
* Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and direct on-site teams.
* In-depth knowledge of construction processes, site operations, and health and safety regulations, especially in residential projects.
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Relevant construction qualification or trade background is an advantage.
