Join to apply for the Senior Finance Analyst role at Allianz Partners.
This role reports to the Head of Planning & Controlling of the Health LoB and will focus on the automation and process improvement of financial reporting and analysis activities. You will help modernize how we work by streamlining workflows, enhancing reporting, and driving smarter decision-making with data.
Responsibilities
* Evaluate existing financial reporting processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement to enhance quality, accuracy and timeliness of delivery
* Design and implement automated solutions using macros, scripts, or other digital tools
* Provide training and support to team members on new automation tools and processes
* Collaborate with the planning and controlling team and business leaders to understand financial reporting and analysis needs and current gaps/pain points
* Develop new reporting and interactive dashboards using Power BI and Excel (Power Query and advanced formulas) to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement to support business leaders in decision making
* Prepare and deliver data-driven insights that support strategic decisions
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented improvements and iterate as needed
What You Bring
* Bachelor’s degree in finance/ business/ economics or related subjects (e.g. applied mathematics)
* 5+ years in a financial, actuarial, or analytical role
* Expert in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, Power Query, advanced formulas, macros)
* Proficient with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, visualization)
* Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., VBA, Python, RPA tools) is a strong plus
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and across departments
* Motivated self-starter with the ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver results within deadlines
* Analytical and inquisitive with high accuracy and attention to detail
* Excellent command of English (oral and written)
