Offer description

Do you want to work in a one-of-a-kind art college on Ireland’s Atlantic coast?
Are you an organised, people-focused professional who enjoys working closely with students, artists, academics, and international partners? Do you thrive in a small, collaborative environment where no two days are the same and where your work has a direct impact on the student experience?
Burren College of Art is an internationally recognised Irish non-profit college specialising in undergraduate, postgraduate, and alternative approaches to fine art education. Located in the unique landscape of the Burren in Ballyvaughan County Clare, the College attracts students, artists, and educators from around the world. We are currently seeking a Director of Admissions, Recruitment and Registration to join our small and dedicated team.

You are highly organised and detail-oriented, but equally comfortable building relationships and communicating with people from a wide range of cultural and educational backgrounds.
You enjoy helping students navigate important decisions and experiences — from first enquiry through to enrolment and registration — and you bring warmth, professionalism, and efficiency to every interaction.
You are proactive, adaptable, and collaborative, and you value working as part of a small college community where teamwork, flexibility, and initiative are essential.
You may already have experience in higher education administration, admissions, recruitment, student services, or registrar functions, and you are excited by the opportunity to contribute to an innovative and internationally connected art college.

This role oversees the student journey from enquiry and application through to registration for postgraduate students, undergraduate study abroad students, and participants in artist residency programmes.
