Job Title: Maintenance Electrician – Retail Supermarkets

This is a key position, carrying out planned and reactive Electrical maintenance across a number of sites in the area.
">
The purpose of this role is to carry out technical repairs and minor Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks. You will ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is always completed and up to date. All work will be completed to the highest standards in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the laid-down company Health and Safety policy.

Key Responsibilities:
">

1. Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed
">
2. Conduct emergency lighting tests and repairs
">
3. Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the line manager of findings
">
4. Evaluate and advise on repair and maintenance issues that are likely to affect the smooth running of the site
">
5. Carry out surveys and complete reports as required
">
6. Always comply with company Health and Safety policy
">
7. You will be part of a 24/7 call out rota
">

Required Skills and Qualifications:
">
">
8. City and Guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification
">
9. Approved electrician status such as AM2
">
10. Knowledge of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671:2018) and its application
">
11. Experience working with three-phase electrics
">
12. Achievement of PPM schedule within agreed timescales
">
13. Responsiveness to service call requests within agreed timescales
">
14. A valid full driving licence and own motor vehicle
">
