Training Instructor Position
This role requires an individual who can deliver training programs suitable to the needs and abilities of trainees. The successful candidate will work as a member of a team, implementing and evaluating training modules at NFQ Levels 1, 2, and 3.
The ideal candidate must have a relevant Level 5 or higher qualification on the Quality & Qualifications Ireland (QQI) framework in community development, health, or education. Six months' experience of working with people with intellectual disabilities, autism, and challenging behavior is desirable. Additionally, experience in delivering and monitoring program modules at QQI Levels 1, 2, and/or 3 is highly beneficial.
Skills in Art/Crafts, Pottery, Horticulture, Gardening, Alternative therapies, Music, Sport, would be advantageous. The post-holder must be computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office, and knowledgeable about using information systems.
The hours of work are 39 hours per week, worked over a 5-day roster. The salary scale is €35,081 - €50,864 per annum. A full clean driver's license is required, enabling the candidate to drive manual transmission vehicles on Irish roads as driving service vehicles is a requirement for the role.
