Principal Accountabilities Act as the point of contact for all logistics procurement Lead engagements with the Supply Market Team Create procurement plans and deliver value-for-money, compliant supplier contracts Ensure compliance with EU and Irish procurement law Schedule and manage tender activities, evaluation panels, and contract execution Maintain contract registers and document systems Support team management and collaborate cross-functionally Promote safety, confidentiality, integrity, inclusion, and MetroLink values Report monthly progress to the General Procurement Lead ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTSCharacter Candidates must be of good character. Health Candidates must be capable of undertaking duties attached to the role. Experience Minimum 9 years relevant experience, with 5+ in public sector e-procurement Knowledge of procurement and contract management systems Experience in construction/engineering procurement in safety-critical environments Strong commercial agreement and contract drafting experience Skills Full knowledge of EU and Irish procurement legislation Supply market insight and value-for-money focus Legal and commercial contract awareness Team and stakeholder communication, negotiation and reporting Strong attention to detail, documentation and multitasking Comfortable in high-pressure, cross-functional environments Education Minimum Level 8 degree in business or equivalent Desirable: Advanced Diploma in Public Procurement Law (Kings Inns) Professional Memberships (Desirable) CIPS, RICS, APM, PMI, or equivalent Applicants must explicitly demonstrate these in their application.
