Job Overview
As a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality products to laboratories. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a significant impact on our production and quality network.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and knowledge transfer.
* Conduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate their capability to meet quality requirements.
* Create comprehensive reports that enable project teams to implement improvements and corrective actions.
* Apply statistical analysis to drive regulatory standards of excellence and support suppliers in meeting these standards.
* Develop and implement world-class supply chain processes in a low volume, high complexity multi-technology environment.
* Work closely with suppliers in various quality-related areas such as First Articles, general quality and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with suppliers on corrective and preventative actions, root cause investigations, and performance reviews.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline (ideally quality, engineering or science).
* 8 years' experience in a regulated environment with a proven track record in medical devices QMS.
* Experience in managing suppliers to deliver quality products through product and process investigations and evaluations.
* Ability to identify and drive process improvements with suppliers.
* Responsible for implementing supplier process improvements and updating quality system procedures to achieve fully compliant and lean processes.
