The Vet Office is currently seeking an experiencedSmall Animal Veterinary Surgeonfor a well-established, first-opinion clinic located inCo. Westmeath. This is an ideal opportunity for a confident vet who enjoys a dynamic caseload and a strong sense of teamworkno on-call required.
About the Role
The successful candidate will join a small, collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-quality care in a busy, client-focused environment. The role includes:
- Performing consultations, surgical procedures, and diagnostics
- Managing both routine and non-routine cases
- Building lasting client relationships through excellent communication
- Working alongside a supportive team to ensure seamless clinical operations
About You
This role is perfect for a vet who enjoys variety, thrives in a supportive setting, and takes pride in delivering top-tier care.
Requirements:
- Registered (or eligible to register) with theVCIby July 2025
- Minimum12 months' experiencein a small animal first-opinion setting
- Confident in routine surgeries, medical work-ups, and consultations
- A strong communicator and committed team player
