Financial Controller | Board-Facing Leadership Role

An established, purpose-led organisation is seeking an experienced
Financial Controller
to join its Senior Management Team.
This is a
senior, Board-facing role
with responsibility for financial governance, reporting, compliance and strategic financial oversight. The position reports to the most senior executive onsite and works closely with the Board and Board Committees.
This opportunity will strongly appeal to finance leaders from
charity, NGO, public sector or grant-funded environments
, who are confident operating at Board level and enjoy combining financial rigour with public accountability.
Key focus areas
* Monthly management accounts and Board reporting
* Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow control
* Governance, compliance and risk management
* Charity accounting, including restricted and unrestricted funds
* Government grants, funding compliance and audit
* Clear financial presentations to Board and Committees
About you
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA)
* 7+ years' experience in senior finance roles
* Proven Board or Committee reporting experience
* Strong governance and compliance mindset
* Confident communicator with non-finance stakeholders
