St Patrick's Primary School is a vibrant and dynamic Catholic school, 20 minutes from Melbourne's northern suburbs. It sits alongside Assumption College, our sister Marist school, and we work very closely with their staff and students alike.
We are looking for dynamic applicants within a primary school environment for a Prep to Year 6 specialist teacher role that will implement the school’s French program.
The school values staff who are comfortable in an environment of ongoing improvement, self-reflection, coaching/mentoring and peer interaction. We are looking for creative thinkers, who are life-long learners and want to be part of a well-supported team in a relatively new, beautiful built environment.
St Patrick’s is a school committed to the safety, well-being and protection of all children in our care. A sound and demonstrated knowledge and understanding of current 'Child Safe' standards is required. A copy of the school’s Child Safe Policy and Child Safe Code of Conduct can be found on the school’s website.
Applicants are asked to demonstrate:
1. current VIT registration;
2. practical and sound knowledge of the French language, including speaking French fluently;
3. experience teaching a French program;
4. confidence in using ICT;
5. knowledge of Victorian Curriculum;
6. accreditation to teach RE (desirable);
7. a commitment to engaging students and improving outcomes;
8. an ability to explain how data analysis and feedback would be used to drive student learning.
