Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and supervision to a team of Social Care Workers supporting people with complex needs.
* Deliver support in line with the person’s care plan and Personal Care Plan (PCP), placing the needs and rights of the person supported at the center of all activities.
* Lead and chair meetings; manage team rota and supervise staff performance.
* Apply knowledge of current legislation and regulations relating to the Social Care Sector.
* Demonstrate effective communication, initiative, and leadership under minimal supervision.
Qualifications
* Qualification required: Social Care/Studies or relevant 3rd Level qualification at degree level (e.g., Social Work, Psychology) or a qualification recognised outside the State by NARIC equivalent to Irish Level 8.
* At least one year’s recent experience as a Social Care Worker supporting people with complex needs.
* Full, manual driving licence.
* Proven experience in supervising/managing a team and leading meetings; ability to lead and chair meetings.
* Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
* Places the needs of the person supported as the key focus in all activities; experience delivering supports according to the person’s PCP and care plan.
Requirements & Skills
* Understanding of the needs and rights of individuals with autism.
* Ability to work on own initiative; demonstrated leadership skills.
* Experience at a similar level with responsibility for supervising/managing a team.
* Proven ability to manage team rota and lead/chair meetings.
