Financial Controller Opportunity | Ethos Care | Cork CityWe are currently seeking an experienced Financial Controllerto join the Support Office team at Ethos Care, based in Grand Parade, Cork City.This is a key leadership role within the Finance function, responsible for ensuring strong financial control, accurate reporting, and effective support for decision-making across multiple business units.You will oversee the Finance Department’s day-to-day operations, working closely with the Finance Director and wider leadership team. The role covers financial reporting, control, compliance, cashflow management, and continuous process improvement.Key Responsibilities:Preparation and review of monthly management accounts and variance analysisOversight of cost control, payroll (700+ employees), and financial reporting processesBalance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset management, and intercompany accountsCashflow forecasting and working capital managementAnnual budgeting support and financial analysis across departmentsRevenue/CSO returns, audit preparation, and compliance activitiesStrengthening internal controls and improving finance processesDeputising for the Finance Director when requiredWhat we are looking for:Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CPA)Strong experience in financial reporting and accounting within industryExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft OfficeStrong communication skills and proven ability to work across teamsA proactive leader with a continuous improvement mindsetThis is an excellent opportunity to take a leading role in a dynamic organisation and make a real impact on financial performance and process excellence.
