Job Description:
About BRIA
The Brazil-Ireland Association (BRIA) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering Brazilian professionals in Ireland. We help individuals navigate the Irish job market, enhance their career prospects, and integrate into professional networks through support, resources, and development opportunities. Our mission is to strengthen the professional profile of the Brazilian community while fostering cultural and professional integration.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Volunteer Professional Development (PD) Executive Videomaker to support BRIA’s Professional Development initiatives. This role focuses on producing engaging, professional-quality video content to promote BRIA’s events, training sessions, and community stories. The content will be used across BRIA’s social media platforms, website, and professional development programs.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about videography, storytelling, and empowering communities, looking to expand their portfolio while making a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, shoot, and edit short-form and long-form videos (interviews, event recaps, promotional clips, and testimonials) aligned with BRIA’s mission and branding.
Collaborate with the Professional Development team to create video content for workshops, online courses, and career-readiness programs.
Support BRIA’s social media strategy by creating engaging reels and posts that highlight opportunities and success stories within the Brazilian community.
Ensure all videos maintain a professional, inclusive, and culturally relevant tone.
Deliver edited videos on schedule (usually one to two videos per week).
Contribute creative ideas for new video formats and storytelling techniques to increase engagement.
Requirements
Experience or strong interest in videography, editing, and content creation (professional or self-taught).
Familiarity with editing tools such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
Basic understanding of social media formats (Instagram Reels, YouTube, LinkedIn).
Strong storytelling skills and ability to capture the essence of BRIA’s mission.
Reliable, organised, and able to dedicate 3 hours per week to the role.
Portuguese and English fluency preferred (as videos may feature both languages).
What We Offer
Opportunity to develop your portfolio and gain experience in a professional, community-driven organisation.
Networking with industry professionals, employers, and community leaders in Ireland.
Experience in a dynamic non-profit environment that values creativity and personal growth.
A recommendation letter and public recognition for your contribution.
