OverviewWe now wish to recruit a Senior Construction Scheduler for a large Pharmaceutical project in Co. Westmeath.The successful candidate will have suitable experience of developing and managing complex project schedules through the construction lifecycleThe successful candidate will require a minimum of 6-10 years' experience in Project Scheduling of complex projects from design through to construction and commissioning. A third level degree is preferable, in a scientific or engineering field. Construction site experience, with Last Planner methodology is also an advantage.Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential along with a good understanding and experience of project co-ordination & management through the full project lifecycle.ResponsibilitiesThe role will include:Responsible for development and management of detailed schedules to cover the Construction stage of projectsResponsible for development and management of project controls toolsCritical Path development & analysisLead / Host Interactive Planning WorkshopsEngage and support the project team from early stagesProvides performance updates / reports views for identification of variances and corrective action.Identification of project milestones, monitor & report on sameLiaise with project management team with regular schedule performance status reportsEstablish project schedule resource requirementsDevelop and Communicate tools for the target completion of project goals.Provide valued input to Constructability ReviewsDeveloping and maintaining collaborative relationships with the ClientEstablishing project objectives in line with the client and help to ensure goals & timelines are achievedExecution of projects via an established Quality Management systemQualificationsThe required qualifications and attributes are:6-10 years' experienceExpert in Primavera P6 softwareExperience in scheduling the construction phase of a projectSound knowledge of design and construction sequence and logicPharmaceutical experience requiredExperience in using and understanding earned value progress requiredExperience in all phases of home office engineering requiredExcellent oral and written communication skills requiredDegree qualified in Construction, Engineering or other allied third level qualification.Why PM Group?As an employee-owned company, we are inclusive, committed and driven.
