About the role:The Marketing Director is responsible for creating, managing, and executing the Marketing Strategy for Flogas Ireland which includes our Flogas Energy & Flogas LPG businesses.
You will be responsible for the development of an overall Marketing and External Communications Strategy for Flogas Ireland across the Island of Ireland.
This role reports to the Managing Director of Flogas Energy and will be part of the Flogas Energy Leadership Team.
The role will also have responsibility for external communications, group wide marketing activities and will work closely with key stakeholders in the LPG business.
You will help develop marketing strategies and oversee the implementation of suitable marketing and communication programmes and campaigns.
These programmes, above and below the line, will be designed to support a variety of business initiatives across all energy products and services including electricity, natural gas, LPG, E-Store and Solar & renewable services. You will oversee and manage a team of direct reports as well as third-party creative, design and media agencies, and have a systematic, organised approach to work managing day to day requirements.
Main areas of responsibility: Define and develop a Marketing strategy for the Flogas Ireland brand aligned to our growth strategy, taking consideration of the need of all business channels.
Identify opportunities to drive brand awareness collaborating closely with leadership teams to unlock exponential market growth and secure customer retention.
Develop coherent Brand, PR, Advertising, and Sponsorship strategies for the business, with a key focus on the management and evolution our brand.Manage relationships with corporate partners, brand ambassadors and other relevant third-party organisations.
Ensure that the Flogas Brand operates within the DCC guidelines.Develop and implement a Digital Strategy for the business including our web presence, digital apps, and social media management.Select, manage, and review Third Party Agency relationships.
Lead all creative, digital, web, print production and media (including social media) agencies and partners.Work closely with product marketing and sales teams across the Flogas Energy business to create powerful and impactful marketing and advertising campaigns.Analyse key marketing performance metrics and providing market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results and consumer trends.Fiscal responsibility for the annual Flogas Energy Marketing Budget including annual budget, spending, and investment.
Ensuring we deliver to agreed budgets and can objectively assess the return on investment of marketing campaigns.Lead the Marketing Team, including objective setting, team development, performance management, wellbeing, and engagement.As a member of the Flogas Energy Leadership Team, proactively support the achievement of strategic and operational objectives.Collaborate with the MD of Flogas LPG, on all marketing strategies and implementation for the LPG business.
Required Experience and Capability: A record of accomplishment of delivery of impactful marketing and communication strategies.
Minimum of 10 years' experience of working at a senior leadership level within Marketing.Proven relationship management experience at a senior, strategic level role.Strong strategic focus with a clear understanding of change management.Established record of accomplishment of fiscal management including budgeting, forecasting KPIs (key performance indicators), SLAs (Service Level Agreement), in a marketing and communication environment.Ability to interpret multiple data points and complex situations to develop suitable communication and marketing strategies and make recommendations.About Flogas:Part of the DCC Group, Flogas Ireland was established in 1978 supplying Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) throughout the island and to this day remains one of the leading suppliers in Ireland, servicing a diverse range of market sectors, including commercial, agricultural, and domestic.
