We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair filtration, drying, and separation equipment. This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role supporting leading pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing clients.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, test, and commission industrial filtration and drying systemsPerform preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs, and mechanical overhaulsConduct fault finding and diagnostics on rotating equipmentCarry out Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), upgrades, and system improvementsProduce detailed service reports, risk assessments, and technical documentationProvide technical support, spare parts advice, and after‑sales serviceBuild and maintain strong customer relationshipsDeliver on‑site customer training where requiredLiaise with internal engineering and service teams to ensure high‑quality deliveryEducation / ExperienceQualified Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Technician / Service Engineer (or equivalent)Experience with gearboxes, seals, agitators, pumps, or drive systemsStrong troubleshooting and fault‑finding skillsAbility to work independently in field‑based environmentsExcellent communication and customer‑facing skillsFull driver’s licence and willingness to travel internationallyDesirable ExperienceBackground in pharmaceutical, chemical, or process industriesExperience working in regulated or GMP environmentsPackage & BenefitsPerformance bonus (up to 1 month’s salary)Pension, VHI, and PHICompany van, phone, travel expenses, and accommodationStructured training provided in Ireland, the UK, and EuropeAdditional InformationTravel across Ireland, UK, and Europe (with occasional global assignments)Opportunity to develop specialist expertise in process equipment and mechanical systemsRole may involve confined space work
