We're working with an innovative construction company in their search for a dedicated Timber Frame Designer in Meath, to support Roof Truss design and sales capacity to ensure a smooth operation end to end. This is a full-time, permanent position with a growing company.
Responsibilities
6. Collaborate with the design manager and customers so that designs are co-ordinated with architectural, structural and M&E designs
7. Produce drawings, formulate schedules and distribute design information to the Production
8. Work closely with production team to ensure they are provided with the relevant information for manufacturing
9. Update and coordinate any design amendments
10. Produce accurate estimates for customers
11. Ability to interpret our engineer's calculations and incorporate it into timber frame design
12. Ensuring clear communication with customers and external architects, answering any technical queries
13. Working with Auto Cad 3D software and Mitek software
14. Ability to problem solve if any issues arise
15. Other ad hoc duties that the Company may require from time to time
Requirements
16. Experience in manufacturing or in a fast-paced production environment is desirable
17. Experience providing accurate estimates and excellent customer service
18. The ability to act decisively and solve staff or equipment-related problems
19. Microsoft office literacy
20. Attention to detail to ensure high levels of quality
21. The ability to work under pressure and motivate others to meet deadlines
