Care for individuals with intellectual disabilities in a residential setting, providing exceptional support and empowering them to live fulfilling lives. Delivering life-enriching activities and promoting independence are key aspects of this role.
Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring the highest standards of care and supporting service users to achieve their goals
* Leading and supervising staff/service users in a residential setting, promoting teamwork and collaboration
* Developing and implementing daily living and social skills programs
* Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with service users and colleagues alike
* Maintaining accurate records of service user documentation and completing tasks as required
A successful candidate will possess:
* A degree in Applied Social Studies/Social Care or equivalent, eligible for CORU registration or already registered
* Experience working with adults/children with intellectual disabilities
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* A full manual driving license
