Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and passionate Gardener to join our team in the beautiful town of Cashel, Ireland.
As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty of our grounds, ensuring a welcoming and visually appealing environment for our visitors and staff.Plan, implement, and maintain landscaping projects across our groundsPerform regular garden maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, weeding, and mowingMonitor and manage plant health, including pest and disease controlOperate and maintain gardening equipment and irrigation systemsAdvise on plant selection suitable for the local climate and soil conditionsEnsure the garden areas are kept tidy and free from litterCollaborate with the grounds team to achieve overall landscaping goalsAssist in the development of seasonal planting schemesMaintain accurate records of gardening activities and plant inventoryQualificationsMinimum of 2 years' professional gardening experienceComprehensive knowledge of plant care, maintenance, and landscaping techniquesProficiency in using various gardening tools and equipmentStrong understanding of plant species, growth patterns, and care requirementsExperience in pest and disease management for plantsAbility to operate and maintain irrigation systemsKnowledge of local climate and soil conditions in Cashel, IrelandPhysical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditionsExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesHorticulture qualification or relevant certification (preferred)Valid driving licence may be required for some dutiesAdditional InformationGreat employee benefits as part of the overall package.
