Western Alzheimers is currently recruiting for Healthcare Assistants within our in‑home Respite Sitter Service / Day Care. This is a CE Placement and a great opportunity for someone looking to return to work, up‑skill and gain further experience working with our elderly clients, in a person‑centred healthcare setting.
Coaching and mentoring will be provided to develop your confidence and competencies within your role. Successful candidates will meet essential qualities, such as being kind, reliable, and a good listener.
Care for people with Alzheimer's Disease/Dementia
Assist with personal care
Prepare meals
Social engagement
Stimulate therapeutic activities
Other duties as assigned
