Job Title: Refrigeration Shift Technician
Location: Dublin (with 2 weeks out of 4 monthly international travel, Data Centres)

On behalf of our client, a global provider of integrated facilities and energy solutions, we are currently welcoming applications for an experienced Refrigeration Shift Technician to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of HVAC and refrigeration systems across Ireland and internationally, primarily within data centre environments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform maintenance, repair, and commissioning of HVAC and refrigeration systems including air handling units, chillers, fire dampers, kitchen extract systems, and associated controls.
2. Deliver a high standard of service to customers, ensuring equipment is operating efficiently and effectively.
3. Adhere to all statutory and legislative requirements, health and safety regulations, appliance standards, and industry best practices.
4. Provide support across customer sites in the Leinster region and internationally (approx. two weeks out of every four for overseas assignments).
5. Escalate any risk or compliance concerns to your direct report promptly.
6. Work collaboratively with colleagues, management, suppliers, and specialists to meet client expectations.
7. Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high professional standards at all times.
8. Commit to continuous professional development.
Required Skills & Experience:
9. Applicants must be eligible for international travel, including possession of a valid passport and the legal right to travel to required destinations
10. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a HVAC service technician role.
11. Proven track record working on large commercial projects.
12. Strong experience with servicing and maintaining a variety of HVAC equipment.
13. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills with excellent attention to detail.
14. Ability to work independently and manage assignments without supervision.
15. Solid communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
16. Experience with VSDs, motor starter controls, and a strong understanding of BMS systems.
17. Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and engineering drawings.
18. Electrical and mechanical building services experience is essential.
19. Professional certifications in HVAC or refrigeration (highly desirable).
20. Proficient in using PC-based tools (Word, Excel, etc.).
21. Full, clean driving licence.
22. Fluent in English (written and spoken).
23. Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills.
24. Capable of working under pressure and managing multiple priorities.
25. Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
