Milestone Technologies is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to collaborate with the client operations management team and deliver a best-in-class service.
In this role, you will be tasked with recommending improvements to systems and processes, identifying areas for service enhancement, and optimizing resource utilization. Responsibilities • Partnering with client operations management teams to achieve a best-in-class service • Recommending improvements to systems and processes to identify areas for service enhancement and optimize resource utilization • Business Intelligence and Analytics: Performing ad-hoc analysis and regular business reviews to support decision-making.
Collaborating with the client to enhance data systems and develop new reporting methods for improved business visibility • People Management: Leading, motivating, inspiring, and encouraging both your own and cross-functional teams across various services • Project Management: Collaborating on cross-functional operational initiatives, identifying process and system gaps, and partnering with Milestone and client operations and capacity planning teams to drive business results Service Management: • Service Level Reporting • Service Risk Management & Escalation • Operational Improvement Planning • Global Operations Manager Collaboration • Program Management • Data Security and Component Handling Best Practices • Operational Health & Safety Program Collaboration • Process development for delivering services to scope specifications & best practice Client Relationship Management Resource Management: • Quarterly resource forecasting per site per region • Partnering with recruiters on job requisition specifications and candidate qualification specifications • Partnering with recruiting on open resourcing requirements and ensuring open positions are filled in a timely manner • Employee On-boarding & Off-boarding responsibilities • Partnering with Training Lead/Specialist regarding new hire and continuous training needs for the region • Management responsibility for Team Leads • Collaboration on new/changed HR program development, design, and execution • Career path, training, and employee development • Ensuring succession planning for the region • Regular 1:1s with team members • Quarterly performance review of team members • Partnering with HR on employee issues Skills• HS Diploma or GED • A minimum of 5 years of warehouse, logistics, inventory control, or related experience, including a minimum of 2 years of leadership/supervisory experience • Experience in lean management for operations, planning, finance, or consulting • Project management: proven ability to lead cross-functional projects • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with extensive business acumen • Effective communication and intercultural skills • Highly innovative, flexible, and self-directed • People skills – maximizing trusting effective relationships • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills and an assertive approach, while maintaining your ability to be vocally self-critical • A smart way of thinking to find innovative approaches for business operations management • A business-focused way of thinking and a strong hands-on, results-driven mentality combined with a high desire to work strategically • Passionate self-starter, decisive, and able to move with speed to implement ideas. • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution • Multi-site experience leading teams and operations
