The Plaza Group, one of Ireland's leading independent motorway and primary route service providers, is excited to announce opportunities at our newly opened Banner PlazaWe're looking for a Deli Cook to join our team and help deliver high-quality food, excellent service, and a welcoming experience to every customer.About the RoleAs a Deli Cook, you'll assist in the day-to-day operation of the deli, preparing, cooking, and serving hot and cold foods while maintaining the highest standards of quality, presentation, and food safety. You'll work closely with the team to ensure every customer leaves happy and help support menu development, stock management, and overall deli operations.What You'll DoPrepare, cook, and present hot and cold foods to a consistently high standard.Maintain freshness, quality, and presentation of all deli products throughout the day.Assist with menu planning, product development, and ordering from approved suppliers.Follow HACCP, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times.Keep the deli clean, organised, and compliant with company QSC requirements.Provide excellent customer service in a friendly and efficient manner.Support and train colleagues to deliver consistent quality and service.Monitor stock levels, minimise waste, and assist the Deli Manager with cost control and profitability.Remain flexible and ready to help in other areas of the deli as needed.What We're Looking ForExperience in a commercial kitchen or deli is preferred but not essential.A passion for food and delivering excellent service.Strong teamwork, communication, and organisation skills.Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.Ability to follow instructions, learn quickly, and work in a fast-paced environment.Positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for customers and colleagues."Only those residing in Ireland with the correct permissions to work in the State will be considered."Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €14.00-€16.00 per hourExperience:commercial kitchen (not home cooking): 1 year (preferred)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In person
