A prestigious luxury hotel group across Leinster is seeking a dedicated and experienced Conference & Banqueting Operations Manager to join their team. This key role requires a hands-on leader to oversee all Conference & Banqueting operations, delivering exceptional events, meetings, and banqueting functions that exceed guest expectations.
As Conference & Banqueting Operations Manager, you will manage the seamless execution of high-profile occasions in an elegant setting, leading your team with a focus on operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all Conference & Banqueting event operations from setup through breakdown, ensuring flawless delivery
* Lead, train, and motivate the Conference & Banqueting team to maintain the highest standards of service
* Collaborate with Events and Sales teams to meet client requirements and coordinate event details
* Oversee staffing schedules, rosters, and performance management within the Conference & Banqueting department
* Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and food service standards in all function areas
* Monitor budgets, control costs, and manage stock levels to support profitability of Conference & Banqueting services
* Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest experience across all Conference & Banqueting spaces
Candidate Profile:
* Minimum 3 years’ senior management experience in Conference & Banqueting within 4-star or 5-star hotels
* Proven ability to lead and inspire a high-volume Conference & Banqueting team
* Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Hands-on management style focused on delivering outstanding guest service
* Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and special event schedules
