Healthcare Assistant (HCA) – Community Care
Location: Dundalk & Drogheda
RL Management & Consulting Agency are recruiting Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) on behalf of our client to join a dedicated community-based care team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a Registered Nurse in providing high-quality, one-to-one care in the home environment.
Role Overview
You will be supporting a nurse-led 24-hour care service for clients requiring tracheostomy and ventilated care. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you feel confident and fully prepared in your role.
Key Responsibilities
* Work under the guidance and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
* Assist in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to clients in their homes.
* Support with daily living activities, mobility, and personal care needs.
* Promote independence, dignity, and quality of life for clients.
* Provide emotional support to clients and families.
* Maintain accurate records in line with service requirements.
Requirements
* QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support .
* Previous experience in healthcare desirable (community or hospital), but full training provided.
* Reliable, compassionate, and committed to providing excellent care.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to reliably access work in Dundalk or Drogheda.

Pay: €18.00-€30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 38 per week
