Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer - Senior (Galway | Hybrid) Sector: IT Services / Cloud Solutions / Infrastructure Level: Senior | Experience Required: 10+ Years An established IT solutions provider is seeking an experienced Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to join its Galway-based team in a permanent, hybrid role. This senior position offers the opportunity to lead infrastructure projects, support critical systems, and mentor junior team members in a dynamic, client-focused environment. What You'll Do: Take technical ownership of customer infrastructure-both remotely and on-site. Serve as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues, ensuring quick and effective resolution. Plan, manage, and deliver medium to large-scale IT infrastructure projects. Mentor and guide junior engineers, contributing to internal knowledge sharing. Maintain strong communication with clients, stakeholders, and vendor partners. Coordinate with third-party service providers as needed. Key Skills & Experience: 10+ years' experience in IT infrastructure or cloud engineering roles. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server. Expertise in virtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper-V). Solid background in networking, firewalls, endpoint security, backup & disaster recovery. Experience with Hybrid IT environments (Cloud + On-Premises).
