This position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced social care professionals to join our client's team as Person in Charge. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a dynamic and hardworking team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services to children and young people in need.
Responsibilities include:
* Leading a residential childcare team to provide safe and supportive living environments for displaced children and young people
* Developing and implementing effective care plans to meet individual needs
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in childcare
* Maintaining open communication with team members, service users, and stakeholders
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* A recognised Level 8 Social Care qualification or equivalent
* At least five years' experience in residential childcare or managing services for vulnerable children and young people
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills
* Proficient IT skills and ability to use Microsoft Office applications
* A full clean driving licence held for over one year
