Data Center Technician Role
As a Data Center Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to datacenter infrastructure. This includes hardware, fiber, networking, and other related problems. You will work as part of the Data Center Operations (DCO) team, overseeing the operation and maintenance of IT infrastructure and hardware for data centers in various cloud regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose hardware and network problems followed by physical repairs
- Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures
- Manual handling and lifting of equipment may be required (weight limits in accordance with regulations)
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science
- UAE National with family book
