We are seeking an ambitious and energetic person to fill an Administrative vacancy. This role will be based in the office but the chosen candidate may be required to attend open evenings, exhibitions etc. from time to time.
The Role
The administrative assistant will provide essential support to the Truwood team by managing various administrative tasks and ensuring smooth operations.
The Key Duties Of This Role Are
* Answering calls and correspondences
* Organising files & databases
* Assisting with deliveries (both incoming & outgoing)
* Organising and labelling incoming deliveries
* Helping with shipping documentation
* Assisting with purchasing
* Managing inventory - obtaining comparable prices and placing orders
* Performing basic book keeping tasks
The Person
As this is an entry level position the ideal candidate for this role does not need experience or knowledge as training will be provided in-house.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office is an advantage
* Understanding of what Truwood do and the basic manufacturing process
* Possess strong customer service skills
* Understanding basic financial concepts and budgeting will be helpful
Personal Characteristics
* Effective Communicator - good written and verbal communication are essential for interacting with colleagues and clients.
* Effective Organiser –strong organisational skills
* Adaptable – able to handle a variety of tasks and need to be able to adjust to changing priorities & deadlines
* Time Management – effectively prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines
