We are seeking a seasoned accountant to manage a diverse client portfolio and deliver high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services.
This is a client-facing role requiring strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while supporting junior staff as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and review year-end financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
* Manage tax compliance including Corporation Tax, Income Tax, VAT, and PAYE.
* Liaise directly with clients to provide advice and resolve queries.
* Oversee bookkeeping and payroll work prepared by junior team members.
* Prepare management accounts and financial reports as required.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory deadlines.
* Support the implementation of cloud accounting systems where applicable.
Requirements:
* Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CPA).
* Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in an accountancy practice.
* Excellent knowledge of Irish tax and financial reporting standards.
* Proficient in cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero, Surf, Sage, QuickBooks).
* Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines.
