Job Title: Test Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing inspection operations on sub-assemblies, modules and systems using engineering drawings, schematics, flow diagrams, specifications and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing inspections of sub-assemblies, modules and systems to ensure they meet quality standards
* Troubleshooting faults down to component level
* Preparing samples, reagents and diluents for chemical testing of systems and modules
* Establishing causes of malfunction and non-conformance in the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and chemical operation of systems with a minimum loss of test time
* Assisting Engineering in the initial validation, installation and verification of new test procedures, equipment and products
* Overseeing and checking any repair work that has to be carried out to ensure that the fault is corrected
* Working with other departments to solve ongoing problems
* Assisting Engineering in the design of test fixtures and modules inspection/test procedures
* Completing and maintaining all necessary paperwork, test data etc. for each system/module to ensure that accurate Quality records are available
* Working with Quality procedures, relating to material flow, material handling, processing of defective material, acceptance and rejection procedures, ECN monitoring, concessions etc.
* Awareness of the risks involved i.e. in handling dangerous corrosive or infectious materials adhering to strict safety rules
* Training in new personnel
Requirements:
* 2 years experience in a similar manufacturing environment
* Experience as a Test Technician in a mechanical or electrical environment a plus
* Related third level qualification QQI Level 6 and above
* Excellent PC Skills
* SAP Experience
